You also get that effect if chukya catches you after a fall, just as he hits the ground. He will catch you and then explode, leaving you hovering off the ground.

*sigh* So the question remains....will I ever find a glitch that hasn't been discovered?

You may still find a new glitch that you never have heard of. But you can't know for sure that it has never been discovered yet.
I found recently that in DS you can run up the endless stairs with the camera facing down so that you can see what is really happening with the mini-warp. But I can't say I remember trying this in the original game.

I have a question (and I don't think it was worth creating a topic for that).
In CCM, at the end of the slide, when you climb on the wall with an arrow to get to the 1up, if you look at the top of the wall you arrived from (the one where the slide
ends) you can see a circular opening, like the end of another slide...
Is it possible to get there from the end room ? While sliding ?
I haven't tried much yet, but I was wondering what we were meant to do to go there (and what is there).

@Zanapher: when going down the slide, have you ever tried to collect *all* the coins? There are five in a row, close together, somewhere in the middle. Sounds like you might get a bit of a surprise if you get these!

Oho... I had already gotten all the coins in the slide, but I never "missed" my turn so that I went into the wall.
Thanks for solving this mystery.

Hey Zanapher, haven't seen you in a while.
I've been trying to fall through the wall on the endless stairs into Wet Dry World, but I can't do it. Any hints?

Can someone explain something to me about combining the dry pipe glitch with the Chuckya glitch? I have seen by reading the archived topics that it is possible, but I have been unable to do it myself. The reason? Once I get out of the dry pipe my camera is......weird. It always goes below me and stuff, making the chances of successfully getting Chuckya into the pipe are slim to none. So, could someone explain to me how this was done, and, once I'm in the dry pipe, should I stick to the left side or the middle? (warp or stay in the pipe?)

I have the same problem as you. I know that the camera angle is weird because it acts like if you were underwater. :P Maybe there is a way to change the camera mode back to normal... That way it would be easier to get Chuckya into the dry pipe.

The way around this is unfortunately, trial and error. I don't think there is a way to change the camera angle back, or at least I haven't found one. If you’re on an emulator you have the benefit of save states, but if not there are a couple of things that can help. Usually, when performing the stutter glitch you stand almost parallel to the wall, jump and hold top right all the way along. However, after coming out of the dry pipe, the camera will tend to swing round to the left as you move along, you can anticipate this and correct as appropriate. For example, as the camera spins round hold hard right, then down, until the camera is opposite Mario and you are holding bottom left. That is just a rough guide as I don't have the game in front of me, but that should give you an idea of what to do.
As for coming out of the dry pipe, I find that for more successful warps of objects you should jump into the wall of water on the left hand side as you face the town (Mario's right as he looks to WDW). You should come out at the second platform, make sure the waters at the top of the level as you enter WDW for easier glitching. Hope this helps a bit.

Ok, thanks, I'll try that :)
Did something else with Chuckya, sorta fun...not...really...well.
I got him into the "Express Elevator"
First, I did the Invisible Mario glitch. As I was swimming around with the invisible Chuckya, I lowered the water level all the way as usual. Then I went over to my usual box that I grab onto to get rid of Chuckya. (it's one of the yellow ones that you punch open) When I grabbed on, he grabbed me and threw me, and was visible again. He fell through the box and walked toward his platform, as he usually does when you take him off it. He approached the elevator, when right through the box that is blocking the entrance and went in there. Nothing much just kinda funny. :P

This is probably tried already, but I think I might be on the track of something...
You all know about the impossible coin in Tiny-Huge Island, right? Well, it's pretty much useless now, since we already have infinite coins here. But I was experimenting a bit with the BLJ and found a way of jumping through the Tiny Island.
It's easy. Go to the small beach with the fire-spitting ball, just beneath the platform with Koopa the Quick. BLJ into the small corner of earth under the platform, but watch the fire! If you press fast enough, you will jump through the whole island.
The result varies depending on how you angle the jump. I have ended jumping towards the small island where the fourth star appear, with the result that I fall down and die. With a different angle, I end up in the water next to the small Piranha Plant.
It's also possible to get inside the island, but this makes me fall down through it and die. I have also gotten slightly inside the island, but in the water, making it possible to swim inside it, but that's probably old.
My intention with this glitch was to jump through the island and collect the impossible coin on the way. Although I find the right angle, the coin is just a little bit to high for me to reach it. But I still think it may be possible to get it with a bit more experimenting. Try it!
One problem though, if we actually manage to get it, it would probably be impossible to survive, since you fall down through the island when you jump inside it.

Alright, this has been posted on another thread on this board, but I thought it should be put here too for when it is archived.
New Capless-Cannonless Star--Blast Away The Wall
Discovered by: nesrocksFODA
The easiest way to describe it is go on the spinning platform near the wall you would blast away. What you have to do is jump at the seam where you would normally break the wall, and Mario will grab on for a split second and get the star. If that doesn't make sense, consult the following two videos.

I also discovered a different way to get the Shoot into the Wild Blue star (whomp's fortress) (this was not done in a console yet, only on the emulator):
Go to the cannon area, do a longjump towards the slope, then jump and press B to dive trying to go parallel to the walls towards the star, and fall on the ledge to the left. At the moment you fall on it, press A,B,A,B really fast while pushing towards the star. With this you might get another dive up and fall on the ledge again. You might be 1 dive away from reaching the fenced area above. What you want to do here is dive towards the fence but through the triangle beneath it, which has no colision check. If you dive too high you will end up on the floor above, and you'll have to redo. After you go through the triangle, you will start falling inside the ground but you can try pushing left to fall on the plataform where the star is (this is really hard to do because you're not seeing mario, but the wall is 100% passable when you're going inside out.

Alright, so after FODA discovered the 114 CC-less star, I decided I had to start a CC-less file. So, I did so. But, I was wondering, is it possible to get "Blast To The Stone Pillar" in JRB without a cannon? If so, can you please explain it and/or give tips/videos, etc....

Have you got it to where you can do this new CC-less star consistantly? I can't seem to hit the right part of the wall, with or without the wall-kick.
Have you tried it on the other side of the wall, where you don't have to stand on something moving?

Not quite, though when I first got it it only took me about 10 minutes.
In regards to my other post, can someone not only provide a way to get that star CC-less, but list all the other stars you do something funky to get them without a cannon, because I just viewed a CC-less file and have no idea how he got such stars as "Metal-Head Mario Can Move" and "Free Flying For 8 Red Coins" So a list would be much appreciated, you have my thanks in advance. :)

If the "Metal Head Mario Can Move" star is the one where you're supposed to get the metal cap to press a switch that's underwater, then it's very simple to get capless by butt stomping after jumping high enough out of the water over the switch.

TheFrigz:
Double long jump from the ship towards the star, and wall kick off the wal to grab the ledge. This video should help (one of the board vets here made it).
http://rapidshare.de/files/12134970/CCless_-_Blast_to_the_Stone_Pillar.wmv.html
For "Free Flying for 8 red coins, it involves the easy 4, twisters for 3 others, and a tricky jump for the last.

Master Of Majora: That was definitely one of the more promising attempted methods, but like you said, the height and positioning make it look impossible.
TheFrigz: Yeah, it's the one near the pond. Try using the koopa shell and jumping from the pillar edge at full speed. It's also possible to use the fly guy by the pyramid, if you get him to fly close enough to the coin, although you probably wouldn't want to do it that way if you're going for all the coins as well.
It's also possible to do it will all coins without holding down A while floating. (I didn't know about that when I first did it!)
The acronym stands for "If I recall correctly", IIRC.

Oh, if I recall correctly...*slaps forehead* :P
Actually, that's the way I got that coin originally. What I'd do, is get the Koopa Shell, go up the four pillars, then triple jump up to the top of the pyramid. This lured the Fly Guy towards me and I used him to get it. Now it's just a matter of execution. Thanks everybody. :D
One last question. A capless-cannonless file is where you don't ACTIVATE any caps (switches) or cannons, correct? So, I am allowed to get the Tower of the Wing Cap star, and the other two as well?

Frigz: with the koopa shell, climb up the steep sandy hill at the edge of the world near that pillar (near the pond). Ski down the hill at full speed towards the pillar, climb up and jump off towards the coin. You should have enough momentum/speed to reach it. No need to waste the fly guy.

FODA, what you do is, you do the Chuckya Glitch and you swim back and forth through the loading point as usual, and by some miracle, on the town side you end up holding a star. So you drop it and there you go.

Not that I know of.....here, let me try to reword it.
Well, you probably know of the Chuckya Glitch. Once you get him in the pipe, swim with him back and forth between the loading point. He changed into random interactive objects from whatever side of the loading point you are on. (tree, platform, block, coin, etc.) For example, if I were to have just swum to the WDW side of the pipe, it would not be possible for me to be holding a tree, for those are only in the town area. You have to continually swim back and forth over the loading point until you are holding a star. Then you drop it (in the pipe is fine, it'll work in town too, just don't cross the loading point again or it'll change into something else) and he automatically collects it. If you are planning to use this for your 120-Star TAS, good luck, it is completely random what item it turns into, so you'd have to rerecord like 50 million times.

i dont know if this has been mentioned b4, but there is another way to get MIPS through a door. place him infront of the door, then run a little ways back. run at MIPS and dive into him. if u do it right it should puch MIPS into the door. then walk through the door and pick him up on the other side.

i posted that in another topic before. we all found out it's just the fat star where the 8 red coin star appears. and you would just jump right through the yellow box.
