If you mean the C^UP thing, I doubt it. The technique for getting the 12'3 requires a couple bumps early on that would eliminate any speed. Maybe getting 19'3 (no shortcuts) or 20'3 (All coins) or lower if you can steer well enough not to fall off the edge or hit the walls of the curves at the bottom at the wrong angle. --- I own the world's largest 3D puzzle |

It's an interesting hypothesis, but I doubt it... To get the record so far, you have to use the side wall of the slide to get yourself going backwards. Doing that would cancel out any chance of doing the C^ thing. I think that's what The Onion Kid was saying. For those not watching the TAS-board, I found a ridiculously simple trick for getting a bobomb's coin. Instead of throwing it or activating it (and waiting for it to explode), just kick it. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAa4dk0tT6M Mannny useful things happen when you get a running start and dive into bunny and hit wall, it can get the bunny into walls, it can reposition the bunny for other things, another way to do the bunny glitch 2 1: position bunny as if you're going to do the classic way of doing the bunny glitch 2: get a running start 3: dive and he'll get "inside" the door and then go through the door normally and grab him through the door Very useful and im gonna test more stuff with this... exactly, and you could start with WF then go to BoB then go to BOWSERS OMG lol that would save like 2 seconds wow! >_> but seriously, TAS circumstances, you're a genius! this is veryyyy useful and definitly tell FODA, maybe he can get 16:00 sub-par when he does his 16 star run, im still testing, so far, I know it'll mostly be used only once if at all in a TAS and that would be at the very beginning if the WF strategy works. --- I own the world's largest 2D puzzle |

Ok now ive gotten into the little bump by the toad, into JRB aquarium, into key door #1 and #2 castle court yard many times and the entry way to the castle and outside, it is definite with TAS you can get into bowser and thus get into the basement with 0 stars. btw i thought of a great idea for a TAS'er try to get into one of the other peaches picture in the princess peaches slide room because if you use camera you can see theres a bit of area to step on and that could lead to unlimited BLJing which could lead to out of bounds! which could lead to madness! --- I own the world's largest 2D puzzle |

If you can get into the JRB Aquarium, it's obvious you can get inside the door to JRB... THerefore, it's almost definite you can get inside any room in the Lobby without opening the door to it.. Sooooo... Previous levels you could get into with zero stars: BoB Current levels you can get into with zero stars: BoB WF JRB CCM PSS B1 HMC LLL SSL VCUTM Lol, drain the moat with zero stars... Actually, we've (they've) already found that you can BLJ on the steps leading to the JRB (and BoB) doors to get into the rooms without opening the doors. Yep, I saw that from the TAS WIP. With this, we can get in anywhere... i don't understand your question rob When you BLJ'd from the pillar, you said you got outside the castle and into the courtyard. Normally, you'd have to open the door and go through a loading point. If you didn't (you just got behind the door), you'd be stuck in a BRoD. K I still dont get your question but lets put it this way, I got so much speed went through the door leading to the outside or lobby so I was in the BROD at that point, I still had sooo much speed I have oppurtunitys to go all the way lets say to CCM, also in the courtyard that was so lucky cause I can't do it again, Im makin low quality vids just to explain where You BLJ cause you guys dont seem to understand, you dont need TAS im doing this all NON Tas just on an emu. We need FODA to test some stuff cause I bet he could go through one of the other peach paintings in the SLide room and he could get into bowser, past the bowser painting even though its already possible. Nice one mr_roberts_z! Now that this glitch is found, it opens a whole lot of possibilites for 16 Star speed runs, now that there's so many levels to pick stars from right off the bat. Too bad that pesky MIPS is still needed to get to Bowser 2. But the BLJing into JRB is a GameFAQs-based discovery as far as I know.
